the new york times is pretty much the world in the city, but none more hallowed than the page six, the top gossip and drama, and new's on who's-who. if you're ever on page six, you know you've made it in the city .

as a quirky and old age single's bar, american trash is full of oddities from old backpacks to christmas decorations, to anything the imagination can stretch to. american trash is one of the hottest spots in the city at this point in time .

the highest building in new york city until 1884. only the main entrance with its memorial plates remains the great past of the hotel. celebrities and artists the like mark twain have stayed at the chelsea. it has also housed rockers like bob dylan, janis joplin, leonard cohen, jim morrison and patti smith. it is also famous for being the place where sid vicious of the sex pistols tragically killed his girlfriend nancy. .

this dance club has a different party each night, with music ranging from caribbean to house. with ladies' night two days a week, and where every night is single's night this is definately the most on the spot place to hang out .

outfitted in classy art deco style, this three-level former shoe store has a downstairs lounge and a 500-capacity concert hall. unlike the rest of the clubs in NYC, this is an elite ballroom- weddings and coming out parties are held here all the time .

the east village is one of the most cultural places in the entire city, coffee shops and art deco around every corner. when it comes to young people, this is where they roam for substance .

world famous, as a tiny little forest in the center of chaos, central park has been around for more than a decade, and is one of the more admired places in the world. at christmas time, it tops one of the most beautiful places in existance .

the most fancy restaurants in new york city, cordial is only for the most wealthy. serving the finest foods, this is not the place for a starving college student .

coif you want to see and be seen on a friday night, then this is the place to be. celebrities, paparazzi, and the like are seen here on a nightly basis. it isn’t hard for under-aged teens to get in, if they're someone worth while- but you have to be careful here. amazing music, great food, and the occasional line of coke in the bathroom make for a great time- maybe even too much fun, if that is at all possible. addictions start here, and the elite are only found. if you're planning to come, however, make sure to come early- the line at the door for 'nobody's', tends to be about three hours long- but don't worry. you'll get in eventually...if you're lucky .

for the past ten years, records and other forms of music have been reduced to the CD. at tone deaf, you can find old records, from as far back as the ninteen twenties, as well as lil wayne's newest CD .

at one time, it was the most beautiful and desirable theaters in the entire state of new york. now, it's been diminished to rubbles, but people are trying to restore it. as of late, only one wing of the theater has been completely finished, but the spirit of the community can not be mistaken. the willingness to bring back america's old ways are as prominent as ever .

by far one of the nicest places in new york to live, this gated community's houses range anywhere from five to fifteen million dollars, ajoined with a tennis court, swimming pool, and class 'a' gym. owned by the la roque family, it's up to the highest standards .

commonly refered to as the acres, jezabelle estates are known for good, strong, sturdy houses- and one of the few sub divisions in new york left, just outside of the city. the people that live here clearly sacrifice the drive for a warm, family atmosphere, perfect for children and adults alike. the middle class are usually housed here, though a few wealthy have winter homes as well .

32 block is the housing for all the aspiring's. actors, writers, artists, or people just aspiring to get their degree- it seems to be those that radiate towards this form of living, because it's cheap, and it only has what you need to survive. considered one of the more infested places to live, it's surprising that the insect problem doesn't stop the rent anymore than it would, if there were no problems at all .

the west side of campus consists of: the science departments, greenhouse, chemistry lab, and social sciences classrooms .

the east campus consists of the language arts departments, theatre, and math classes .
